Sore Lip Em Series Spinning Rod

The Trout Magnet Sore Lip Series Rod (SLS-150) is a purpose-built ultralight fishing rod designed specifically to help anglers cast tiny lures with ease, detect the lightest bites, and land big fish on light line without losing control. Built around a 6’6” IM6 graphite blank, this rod is engineered for finesse fishing with ultra-light presentations like Trout Magnets, small jigs, and micro soft plastics.

Originally designed as the signature rod for the Trout Magnet system, the SLS-150 is tuned for light-line angling in the 2–6 lb test range and excels with lures from 1/64 oz to 1/8 oz. Its fast, sensitive action makes it easy to load up on casts while still maintaining the backbone needed to fight surprisingly large fish on ultralight gear.

Whether you’re fishing small creeks, stocked trout streams, ponds, or crappie lakes, this rod is built to maximize casting distance, improve lure control, and make finesse fishing feel effortless.
